These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of lettmail.com (the “Service”). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. The Service
LettMail provides a free, browser-based temporary email tool. Disposable email addresses generated by the Service are intended for short-term, lawful use such as testing sign-up forms, avoiding unwanted promotional mail, and protecting the privacy of your primary email address.
2. Acceptable Use
You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes. You must not use LettMail to:
- Commit fraud, identity theft, financial deception, or any other criminal activity;
- Harass, threaten, defame, or abuse any person or organization;
- Distribute, request, or receive malware, viruses, ransomware, phishing payloads, or any malicious code;
- Circumvent bans, blocks, age restrictions, or geographic restrictions on any third-party service in a way that violates that service’s terms;
- Create fake accounts on platforms that prohibit the use of disposable email addresses;
- Send unsolicited bulk mail, spam, or commercial messages from any address linked to the Service;
- Attempt to attack, overload, reverse-engineer, or scrape the Service or its infrastructure;
- Receive sensitive personal data, financial credentials, medical records, or government-issued identification through a disposable inbox;
- Violate any applicable local, national, or international law or regulation in connection with your use of the Service.
3. No Account, No Guarantee
The Service is provided without registration. We do not guarantee that any specific address will be available, that any specific message will arrive, or that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free. Disposable inboxes are deleted automatically and cannot be recovered.
4. Intellectual Property
The LettMail name, logo, website design, source code, and original written content are the property of LettMail and are protected by copyright and trademark law. You may not copy, redistribute, or create derivative works of these materials without our written permission.
5. Third-Party Services
LettMail uses third-party providers for hosting, content delivery, analytics, and advertising, including Google AdSense and Google Analytics. Your use of the Service is also subject to the terms and privacy policies of those providers.
6. Advertising
The Service is supported by advertising. By using the Service you agree that LettMail may display advertisements alongside the tool and within blog content. You agree not to interfere with, block in an automated way at scale, click fraudulently, or otherwise abuse the advertising on the Service.
7. Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, LettMail and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your access to, use of, or inability to use the Service.
9. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless LettMail, its operators, employees, and agents from any claim, demand, loss, or damages, including reasonable legal fees, arising out of your breach of these Terms or your misuse of the Service.
10. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access to the Service for any user, IP range, or jurisdiction at our sole discretion, without notice, if we believe these Terms have been violated.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the Service is operated, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
12. Changes
We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
